We handle all kinds of rolling cargo

There are three ro-ro terminals at the Port of Gothenburg that handle all kinds of rolling cargo, as well as containers and cargo on cassettes. Two of the four terminals have rail connections, with tracks all the way down to the quaysides. At the port terminals, or very close by, there are a number of transshipment terminals offering stuff and strip services. With Volvo as a neighbour, we play a natural role as Sweden’s biggest port of departure for exported vehicles. There are also significant imports here of many different vehicle brands.

Sweden’s biggest vehicle port

We are Sweden’s biggest vehicle port. We offer direct services by sea to North America, Europe, Australia and Asia. Every year, around 267 000 vehicles are handled in the port and shipped directly to North America, Australia and Asia.
