Guidelines for safety and regulation in the port area

For safety reasons, there are a number of documents that regulate activities in the area of the Port of Gothenburg. All activity in the port area, both ashore and on board the vessel, must be carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The basis is the Bye-Laws for the Port of Gothenburg was adopted by the City Council and the County Administrative Board. In addition to the Bye-Laws, there are a number of policy documents adopted by the Port Authority. Please contact Port Control if you have any doubts about rules and recommendations.
